Since 9/11, there has been an uneasiness at airports, with increased security and rules to ensure passengers and airline employees alike get to and from their destinations safely. But it's what is behind the scenes, and computer screens, that had about 30 people show up at National Instruments on Feb. 24 for a meeting of the Austin Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP).

OWASP is a worldwide free and open community focused on improving the security of application software with the mission to make application security visible, so people and organizations can make informed decisions about application security risks.

At this particular meeting, OWASP members and interested members of the public, gathered to hear Quincy Jackson, a certified ethical hacker of Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc. and past senior manager of Information Security of Continental Airlines, talk about stealing the airlines' data.
